Step 1. Give Us a Call!
The first step in the initial phase of the building process is to speak to someone at Lynn Modular Homes. We would be glad to discuss everything you’re thinking about with your new home and start to get the ball rolling with you!
Step 2. Financing
It is important to be pre-approved early in the building process. Lynn Modular Homes works with numerous, well credited, banks and lending institutions in the area and we can surely set you up with the one that best fits your budget and needs.
Step 3. Site Evaluation
This is a very important phase as we move closer to the actual build process. We would be happy to, for free of charge, walk on your lot with you! This will help us get more of an idea of the lay of the land that you would like to build on so that we can best design your home based on your needs.
Step 4. Design & Planning
After we have toured your lot, we can sit down and start working directly with you to design your home! We have over 200 plans to choose from and thousands of options so it’s important for us to work with you to get a design and plan that work best for you and your budget.
Step 5. Contracts
After we have finished working on your home design with you, then we can write up a contract for you to take to the lender you have chosen to work with. While the lender is working with you to get everything settled, we will be working on getting the permits necessary to begin the building process for your new home!
Step 6. Starting to Build your New Home
Your loan has been approved, and we have a building permit for your new home is in hand —congratulations! We will send the order to one of our trusted manufacturers for them to begin. As the site work and foundation are being completed on your lot, your home is being built in a climate-controlled environment!
Step 7. Set Date
Depending on the design of your new home, your home will arrive 6-10 weeks after order. New homes typically arrive to the site about 60-80% completed and then we will set your house in one day!
Step 8. Getting the Keys to Your New Home!
Once we have set your house, there will be about another 6-8 weeks of finishing work that need to be done. After all of the work has been done and all the final inspections have been completed, we will do a final walk-through with you and then hand you the keys to your lovely new home!
